The Doholla Retreat Camp was born from the desire to share with my students the time I dedicate to my personal practice. In 2024, I invited for the first time my Doholla students to join me for a retreat in France, with the shared intention of deepening our connection with the instrument.

This is a time when the roles of teacher and student fade away, allowing us to take a moment to recharge, be creative, and nurture a collective memory of the musical learnings from past academic years.

This retreat does not propose any particular structure, although I am available and accessible to answer any requests. My aim is not to teach in a formal sense.

My goal is to offer a space (limited to a maximum of 20 participants), where we all come together with the same intention (me included).

Each person is free to manage their own time, whether for rest, individual practice, or small groups that spontaneously form.

The evenings can be dedicated to an open stage, participation being optional, followed by a campfire where we can collectively gather and jam.

The budget of €60 all inc. per day includes accommodation, sanitation, and meals.

The Doholla Retreat Camp will take place from 22/7/25 till 1/8/25

You’re free to stay the whole duration of the camp, or just a couple of days.

Even tho the focus is on Doholla practice, any musician/artist willing to recharge and focus on his practice is welcome to share this time with us!

This year we will stay at "Dragonfly Cayla" located in the South Aveyron (France).
